Bangkok, March 20th 2023 – The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) and Ministry of Investment (MOI) / Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board worked together held program called Dissemination on Investment Regulation at Amari Hotel Bangkok. Speakers of the event is Mr. Dr. Andre Abraham, S.H., LL.M. (Head of Cooperation and Foreign Relations Division for the Attorney General’s Office) and Mr. Nova Herlambang Masrie (Head of Legal Service Division of the MOI) and was Moderated by Mr. Virgaliano Nahan, S.H., LL.M. (Attaché of AGO Indonesian Embassy for the Kingdom of Thailand). The materials presented was on Investment Realization and Policy Update 2023 by Mr. Nova of the MOI and The Role of Prosecution Office in Assuring Legal Certainty of Foreign Investment in Indonesia by Mr. Andre of the AGO. Briefly the materials presented to the Entrepreneurs from Thailand’s Chambers of Commerce spoke about how Indonesia have been upgrading its regulation to make ease of doing business and promotes foreign investments. As from the AGO, spokes mainly on how the AGO provides legal certainty by upholding and enforcing the law on such matters that can assure the foreign investment is safe. The audience shows enthusiasm on how the Indonesian regulation and legal certainty assures their interest on doing business or investing in Indonesia.
